Ski Mountain Grind Haus - Gatlinburg

I was too far from Starbucks (and the line there was very long), so I decided to take a chance and try their coffee. Despite mixed reviews, I found the coffee to be barely satisfactory. It was not as bad as I was anticipating. The hot chocolate was decent. Overall, in a pinch, it's better than nothing.

If you are in need of a coffee pick-me-up and don't feel like walking to Starbucks, this place will suffice. Just don't expect your order to be prepared accurately. I requested an iced coffee with cream, but it turned out overly sweet. The next day, my husband stopped by because it was close to our condo, but the staff seemed disinterested in taking his order. After waiting for a few minutes, he gave up and went to Starbucks instead. It was evident that they were not interested in serving any drinks that morning.

The customer service was excellent, the coffee was decent, and I wasn't very impressed with their red velvet cake. There was no wait, and the prices were reasonable.

I wish I could say that they deserved at least 1 star but alas they don?t. The employees were rude and lazy and the coffee is worse than I?ve ever had( and I?ve had some really bad coffee , the workers did not seem to care about anything other thantheir phones and were not up to par. I asked for 2 small caramel macchiatos and they were ?out? of the cups and so they chargedme for a large...so two little cups of coffee was a grand total of $12.64 which is a terrible price for the sad excuse of aproduct that we were given. There is a Starbucks down the road with great workers that actually have standards, do yourself afavor and just keep walking : P.s all sales are final so they won?t give refunds.

Almost no wait today the gondola is broken/being maintenanced, so not many people in here. I'm not clear how they can make a latte but can't make a cappuccino, but ok. I'll say, my son's hot chocolate was actually really, really good. Somehow the mochawas not very good and the plain latte didn't taste good at all. Lady working started a little standoffish, but then she wasreally sweet to my kids so, all in all good service, not the most expensive coffee in town (that was at burg) but it just wasn'tthat good, unfortunately.
