At times my family I have moved away from Gaston county we Lived in Lebanon Tennessee Mesquite, Texas Garland Texas Pecos, Texas Paradise, California Salt Lake City Utah and none of these Places had a family owned restaurant that beckons me back Likened unto Blacks Barbecue I thank God They Have refused to change From their original menu I Love Blacks Barbecue

I like Blacks BBQ, the 1 thing if I say anything bad would be I wish their fries were better and I wish they would accept Debit cards. Cash only is not always an option when it's spur of the moment. All together though, I give them 5*s

Ok, so I have grown up in Gastonia, NC (not Charlotte like most people claim and lived here, for most of my life. For folks like me, there is no better place to eat on a Saturday, or any weekday for that matter, than Black 's BBQ. It 's our very own 'Diners, Drive-ins, Dives ' spot. The minced and sliced BBQ is phenomenal, the burgers are great (All The Way w/BBQ slaw (the slaw is a must have for the full experience , the grilled chicken is a personal favorite for me my wife, chuckwagons, fried Bologna, grilled cheese, fries, etc. Best thing is you get to wash it all down with Gastonia 's finest pop, Cherry Lemon Sundrop. Made perfect using equal parts cheerwine and sundrop, then toss in a lemon. Get some. If you 're ever in Gastonia, you must stop in and try Black 's BBQ. You won 't regret it. Enjoy. The first time I tried North Carolina BBQ, I was a little unsure about it. Now, I happily make a 45-minute trip just to grab minced sandwiches to take back to Florida. I definitely score some major points for this thoughtful delivery!
