Milo's Hamburgers - Gardendale

Milo is a Birmingham institution. I personally love it and her sauce. When I moved to Alabama as a child, I immediately fell in love with my rest of my family. When I left Alabama, Milos, good sweet tea (if I eat), and real BBQ were the things I missed most. If I don't make it to Milos during my stay over the mountain around my parents' house, I always keep on this way out of town. The service is always quite fast and the interior has been new. I love her frits in the cheese and her hamburger sauce. You have GREAT fried cakes!! You also have really good chickens. This is a must when I'm in Birmingham!!

I thought they only made tea because they saw that in the area where I live. When I saw that Milo's was an actual restaurant I had to give it a try. The staff was very friendly and gave me the different type of sauces to try with my chicken nuggets. The sandwich was really good and messy which sets always a good combination.

The food was super fresh and extremely hot. The strawberry milkshake was really thick and good. The fries were salted just enough. They moved swiftly and efficiently and from start to finish we were in line in the drive-through less than 10 minutes. This was our 1st experience eating there but will not be our last.
