Delphi Resort - Galway

A fantastic place! We were here only for one night on a trip but absolutely enthusiastic. The resort is picturesquely located in a valley. The view from the room goes to the mountains. The buildings themselves are in a super state (it looks like just finished) and stylishly furnished (Lodge style). Everything is clean, there are offers to discover everywhere. The staff is super friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The room was small (just on the way) but cozy. All clean, all fine. The restaurant was rather high price but the quality and service were worth it. Dinner can be absolutely recommended (there is no real alternative, as the hotel is a few minutes' drive from the nearest settlement). What do I want to say? We were thrilled! When we arrived, we had to take a walk, so beautiful it was. We discovered (which was already communicated to us during check-in) that there is a lot to do here. There is a whole course of activities around the lodge and a spa area for which we unfortunately had no time left. If we come back to Ireland, we will plan a longer stay. An absolute recommendation for the Connemara region!

Not only are the views amazing but the staff are incredible and the food was delicious ! Definitely worth the journey

Overall I'm very happy with the visit. 2 things I'm not entirely happy with(more positives than negatives though, see below) Breakfast variety is very small for 4 star hotel, no vegan options, same menu every day, no ham, no vegetables. Everything was fresh and tasty but lack of more options. SPA needs some upgrade, we got double bath therapy but it wasn't nice, room was old and ugly with just 2 candles, not very relaxing, water was cold and we were told to just add some more hot water? That's not the point of spa I can do this at home. POSITIVES: Location, location, location amazing view surrounded by mountains, forest trails and waterfalls. Only 30min drive to Connemara National Park, Kylmore Abbey, Coragh Patrick. Rooms are big, cozy, comfortable and equipped with everything you need (only thing i was missing was locker for your wallet etc). And that view from your room Staff super helpful and friendly Dinners at restaurant was one of the best I ate, really top notch Bar serves some nice cocktails All hotel is very cozy and relaxing

I stayed here for two nights in April and the setting and surroundings are stunning. I highly recommend this as a basecamp for hikes, drives, and exploring southwest Mayo and Connemara. The staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant was extremely good. Would definitely stay here again.
