Clayton Galway

It is a hotel with Bistro, 2-street pool, Sauna, the location is good, etc, but the truth is that the cleaning in the room was not very good, it was not terrible but for example: The bathroom was the least we liked, the shower area was not a dish but inside the bathtub with the regadera (a little rusty and with lime) fixed on the ceiling, or if you don't want to soak your hair. Soap was gel-chu. And then the váter has as a strange filtration of sediments or rare earth that every time you pull the chain stays on the inside walls. The iron was broken. The television was connected to Netflix, Prime video and YouTube, but the television had no internet connection.... It seems silly, but maybe they are little things that can be fixed and give value to the stay. Something cool or that caught our attention, is that the bathroom mirror has an area that is not packed and appreciated. The room has a mini terracita that you can go out for breath, not to sit down. It has large dark curtains that come very well to cover the sun in the morning and rest for longer. For wheelchairs there are lifts and/or the corridor doors only open in one direction, perhaps that can make mobility difficult. Summary, to go to see Galway for 2 days quality/price in November is regular. But Galway is beautiful and close to the hotel there are many shops, besides it is easy and accessible to get there.

Had lunch here today. The service was exceptional and a big thank you to Sophie for such efficiency and attention to detail. Made us all feel super welcome.

Nice and comfy hotel. My only gripes are that the shower is of the type that rains on you from above with no other option, not a deal breaker but I struggle to reach everywhere at my age, and the air con changes status by itself periodically. Breakfast is good, bar food is good, good choice of beers and parking is easy.
