Not to mention the bathroom stalls don’t even lock so I can’t even take a damn **** in peace. The only times I’ve had a good experience is when I go to watch the movie, don’t order no food, don’t order no drinks. Just go, watch the movie I payed for and leave. It’s very disappointing that I can never come to this theater and enjoy the perks that come with it.
Waited 45min for my refill smh. In addition, place ran out of fries and basically all the sides were not available other than cream of corn. No choice to order bang bang shrimp as my side which I had to spent a lil more on. Order a brunch burger with no sides lol. I had high expectations when I came to this theater and was really looking forward for the food. Sadly, I'm really disappointed with the service.
This theatre is very convenient, service is great but it smells horrible. It’s a mix of mildew, mold, vomit and god knows what else. We came in last year and swore we would never come back. After a year, we thought they must’ve definitely cleaned up. Ugh! Nooooooo all the screens here smell. @cinepolis luxury this is not how luxury smells. Please do something!!!! I wish we could smell through videos.
My favorite theater in the upper MoCo. It has much better food/drink selection and seats than Rio, but at a similar price. A lot of the screens are relatively small for a theater, but also has fewer seats, so it's a much nicer experience IMO. It is almost as nice as Pike and Rose, but much less expensive. There's also a great selection of walkable restaurants nearby in Kentlands.
Save your money. Not luxury just mid.Everything people said is correct. If you just want the average theater experience, sure, this will be fine. But if you expect something a little nicer for the price, this isn 't it!1. They really ignore you at the door and just stare or use their phones as if every guest knows the procedures ?. I had to hail someone down. There is nothing luxury about not having a greeter at the door and using a self serve kiosk to buy your own tickets without any explanation of how it works.2. They don 't explain how it works to enter. You have to just find your own way. Once you buy a ticket theres no check point so just go ahead and make your way to your theater.3. It 's not clean. Dirty serving trays and dishes line the hallways and entrances to theater rooms that smell like old popcorn and stale food in a bad way. Crumbs were in my luxury movie seat and all over the floor. I had to wipe them out myself, which is gross. They need much better cleaning services.4. Service i had a great server who was clearly experienced and understood common courtesy, saying welcome, saying goodbye to guests exiting the theater, explaining how ordering will work. But it 's very much hit or miss. Other servers ignore you, stare blankly, dont provide any common courtesys.5. The service disrupts the movie experience. This isn 't the workers ' fault, but because the theater is also set up for food service throughout the film, waiters walk in front of you, disturbing the viewing. They do their best, but as someone normal height, I had to lower the footrest of my recliner multiple times to allow them to past. It 's poorly designed, and the staff need more walking room without blocking the view of paying movie goers. Also, it 's not movie theater dark. It 's almost too bright because there is so much floor lighting to allow waiters to see when delivering food. I could honestly barely see dark scenes in the movie because the room is so lit up. Theres also lights emanating from people eating food. All in all you wont be terribly disappointed, but dont expect to get your moneys worth. There 's nothing luxury about it. You 'd be better off just going to any newer theater that 's not luxury and simply bringing in your own food in. All the newer theaters have leather recliners these days, and it 'll cost you half the price. Id rather and carry the standard movie popcorn myself from the counter than sit in a dirty, bright movie theater, with mid food.
