Conclusion: the gasthaus edelweiss is definitely recommended.
I'm often past this place, but I never noticed the inn. Perhaps it is on the high hedge that surrounds the plot with the large parking lot. A very friendly couple of Manching, who recently sat at dinner in another place at our side table, recommended the Edelweiss. They came to this inn through their voucher brochure. Actually, the noble white was full tonight. After the service had asked us if we had a voucher booklet, everything was clear to me. The ambience is simple and clean. The service was alone and had all hands full to do. Flott, but still very friendly and attentive. The menu is clear. On three large printed pages you will find soups, appetizers, vegetarian dishes, fish and meat dishes. We started today with a bread soup (2,00 Euro). They looked impressive. A lot of roasted black bread in a good homemade broth with some onions. Tastefully the bread soup was very carefully seasoned. As a kick, I could have imagined a fresh garlic. Also a small decoration, maybe a parsley. The many breads absorbed the broth relatively quickly, so that the soup finally got a fairly pasty consistency. The Swammerl with bread dumplings (9.80 euros) was served in a pan and looked pretty. The two bread dumplings had a darker color as a semmelknödel and were also somewhat firmer. Pure external liver dumplings similar confusing. The seedlings with cream sauce tasted excellent and were beautifully decorated with fresh parsley and a piece of red Pakrika. The pig Steak after Zigeuner Art (10,00 Euro) should have been a neck steak, a single small flax let me guess. But the meat was tender and covered with fresh pieces of red and green peppers. The red sauce based on tomatoes was called pikant in the map, although this is a relative term. I felt it was more than normal. The frits were remarkable, which were added separately in a small bowl. Different in size and shape, unique homemade from fresh potatoes. Excellent in taste. Conclusion: The Gasthaus Edelweiss offers a simple but tasty kitchen. The dishes are freshly prepared, the prices are good.
From outside rather inconspicuous, within Bavarian economy with tress and small beer garden on the Terasse. How were very nicely greeted and brought into a side room where the tables were already all beautifully covered. We were allowed to choose between two tables. Tables and tablecloths clean, but the border of the benches was sewn with a dust cloth. Drinks and food came very fast. Pepper lamb with ratatouigemüse and Rösti 14. € was very well tasted, beautiful pepper sauce, vegetables crisp, meat a ctikken through, unfortunately finished frying, is always a pity. Deer roast with bread dumplings and bluewort 14. € was also very tasty, as with lamb also a crickets too well cooked. Bread dumplings a beautiful firm consistency, blue herbs tastefully very good the bowl was unfortunately very sticky out, you could wipe off .prices but for us a little high, not even salad was there. Operation was very nice, a little comment if I give tips, you could expect a thank you. Parking available, but toilets in the basement.
A bit inconspicuous on the street is the beautiful gasthof noble white. we were on business trip in gaimersheim and on this site we were looking for a good restaurant. the good criticism of this court helped in the decision. I had the Bavarian Chesspfandl (10,50€ what a Cordon-Bleu was baked with sewn and cheese. as an appetizer there were unneededed broth pieces that were thrown into fat too narrow. the portions were not lush, but completely sufficient. the plates were very nicely dressed and decorated. Service is part. she was alone and it was pretty good filled. that meant a somewhat longer waiting time for the guests on orders. Nevertheless, food came quite fast. the surrounding area is Bavarian, as well as food and some visitors. what we liked as a visitor because we were looking for it. as a conclusion I can only recommend the gasthof noble white. Eating is very good, sufficient and expensive fully okay.
