Not sure if they got a freezer or some other cook, but wasn't thrilled with them. The Cajun frits have very little to season, but the Texas dip had like a inch meat on it and the beer selection was quite decent, especially where seasonal beers came. The staff was great and overall looked clean, so I will come back when in Freehold.
Stop and sit immediately and that was the highlight of the meal. Many servers on, but it took a good 7-10 minutes to be welcomed. Food came quickly and with grill marks to perfect on the chicken, prefabricated by a food service company? I couldn't find out what was done with the house chips, they were crispy, but somehow stale? It was almost like they were refried or the oil wasn't hot enough. The darkened group sandwich was served strangely with a thousand island dressing. The ?open? Kitchen made it easy to see the guys just assemble the food and they had more of a date chatting night than cooking? Also, the razor review wings tried and they were just okay, nothing I would have believed to return. The best part was the staff - everyone was confronted with stone and miserable, no personality in the bar or in the people who work there. This place seems like he would scream after a bar rescue sequence. It is a shame because it is located in a first-class city center. The first time here and will not return.
Unfriendly dog policy is so behind the times. Texas. California welcomes pets and brings water. I was actually told not to give my dog water. Really, guys? And your $17 dish of Calamari is worse than saving dollars frozen food. Not to mention the attitude of the host who watched me in my little dog all the time when I eat, I cannot really say enough about how bad this experience was on just a beautiful Friday afternoon. Luckily my beer was cold or you get a star.
Indoor and outdoor seating area. I find this location better than the Aberdeen one due to the outdoor tables. Menu of grill and bar food. With a bar attached as well.
We ate there for lunch. We sat outside in a lovely shady spot. The atmosphere was lovely. We both ordered chicken club wraps which came with potato chips. The food was fine, but I was impressed with the service. A female server took our order, brought us our drinks and gave us the check. When she brought the check, she sort of apologized for not paying attention to us. Her apology confused me because there was, other staff that brought us our meals, and other staff that regularly checked in on us. The service was fantastic and deserves 5 stars.
