My wife and I just dropped in for a casual lunch after reading great reviews. I'll just say that we have been around the block with middle eastern comfort food and this place stands up to the big boys and girls in Manhattan and Philly. The ingredients are fresh and the owner and his spouse are wonderful human beings. Absolutely recommended.

I have been looking forward to trying this place for a long time. Downtown Freehold (Freehold in general really) was in desperate need for a GOOD Middle Eastern restaurant. It does not disappoint! From the second we walked in we knew this was going to be delicious. The owner was super friendly, the ingredients are all fresh and top shelf, the menu is exactly what you are looking for- not complicated or terribly long but has everything you could possibly want. The hummus was perfect. The pita toasted and seasoned. He said the fires would be the best we've had- he was right. The shawarma was delicious. The falafel gyro platter was so plentiful but so good that I had to make myself stop and bring the rest home. The rice?!?!?! Unreal. I'm not kidding when I say this is a hidden gem owned by a man who puts his heart into. You can feel it. Can't wait to go back!

Our first time today, just went to try their food because of the great reviews the place has got. And rightfully so! We ordered beef and chicken platters, really really good, humus with bread, haven't tasted such good humus and bread before, nuggets with fries was on the house. The owner, Mr. Atif, such a nice, friendly person. The experience was so worth it. Will be going there a lot for sure. Definitely recommend their food.

Food is always great. Never a complaint or issues with my order. Owner is always kind and offering free samples of his curry.. the best I've had in a lonnnngggg time

THEE BEST I've had in a while! Just what this block needed!! We ordered the beef, chicken, and spicy lamb curry gyro platter and they were all amazing! You won't regret this place, we also left with some dessert which was the baklava. Great prices and will leave you so full. This place will leave me craving it every time
