I recently had my first meal at Home Town Cafe. My girlfriend's family gathered there for breakfast. The meat lover's omelette was really delicious!

"Recently opened in the area, I visited this BBQ joint yesterday and was quite disappointed. The food lacked flavor, although the waitress provided good service. Today, I tried their Wednesday special, spaghetti with meat sauce for lunch, but it was only warm and bland. I raised my concerns, but there was no response from the staff. This was the worst spaghetti with meat sauce I’ve ever had. There are very few dining options in the area, but I likely won’t be returning."

The food is quite good and reasonably priced. The chef clearly puts in effort, sourcing ingredients from local farms. However, my only issue is that when she gets busy, especially on Saturdays, they take her phone off the hook. This makes it uncomfortable, as you have to go over to place your order and then wait a while for your food.

Had the catfish and shrimp. The food was delicious. I am a great seafood lover and they make some of the best seafood. Better than fish restaurants. Besides the southern kitchen, which is wonderful.

We live in Smithfield visit my mom-n-law often in Kittrell. We chose this place to eat lunch was highly disappointed. Not only did we sit for a while before a waitress came, but after ordering, our food was delivered warm. No one came to offer refills or give us any attention. We had to go to the counter to get a to-go container our own refills. The waitress informed us that they didn?t have a shortage in wait staff (plenty of them were there). The manager went around to the tables but not ours. Please tell me why we received such awful selective service?
