Off Broadway Bistro - FortQu'appelle

A beautiful sparkling Gem of a restaurant , very French and well-run by a beautiful and talented lady. Definitely a must eat at, if you're in the area and by in the area, I mean Within an hour and a half radius LOL everything we tried and there were three different dishes from the tourtiere(french meat pie) to the most delicious quiche , also a home cooked French style turkey dinner. It was so good that I took home a Tourtiere for my husband, and as you will see in the photographs he loved it also! The other thing that I was also impressed with was the prices very reasonable for having a delicious home-cooked French meal.

Four of us drove out to have dinner at this Bistro - worth the trip! All our meals were extremely good and all were good sized portions. Desserts were very good as well!!

The best fresh, home made food on the planet! I am a frequent customer and the owner Monique, never disappoints! I first discovered the bistro in 1998 when I was working on a film shoot. Not only is the food excellent but the atmosphere and staff are fantastic. Monique, is not only an fabulous cook but a warm and lovely woman who always has a pleasant word and beautiful smile for one and all. I bring all of my friends and family there on special occasions and when I just want a great meal. In the town of Fort Qu'Appelle ,the Off Broadway Bistro is a beautiful way to finish your day of sightseeing, or swimming at the lake with a wonderful meal and excellent company! I just have to say, to the person who wrote comments about breakfast.....I'm not sure you were at the Off Broadway Bistro because they do not serve breakfast, nor are they open in November, and the food is never, NEVER so, so...

Monie prepares all the meals so everything is delicious. She has vegan, vegetarian and glucose-free selections to accommodate everyone. She is open for lunch and supper (not breakfast - previous review is mistaken), Wednesday through Sunday, May through September. The ambience is the icing on the cake. Book for special occasions, or come every day. The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean ate here when she was the Governor General of Canada. My sisters and friends held a Surprise 60th Birthday Party for me here, and I have eaten here many times.

My wife and I usually attend this restaurant a few times per year. We like the owner and she provides a very personal social evening out. The selection is small but very well cooked and presented.
