Overall a pretty good meal.....it is crowded and quite noisy so not a good choice if you are looking to visit. Staff seems rather hit and miss...some are very friendly and give excellent service while others are not so great. The food is usually pretty good...I stay away from the thick cut bacon which is so fatty and undercooked...they do offer a thin cut that is much better in my opinion. The baking is pretty average with the donuts being the best in their selection. I was told their bread is not baked at their location but rather at another bakery from another town? If so, it's strange but the bread is very good!! I would recommend this restaurant for a quick meal but not for people wishing to visit and chat.

I often stop at the Bake Shop for breakfast. The bacon and eggs are excellent. Restaurant is always nearly full to capacity as it is a popular place to meet for coffee. Very busy during lunch time as well.Service is good, food is great "down home cooking" and portions are ample.

Bakery and cafe thar the whole neighbourhood uses as it is good. Fresh cakes, bread and donuts. Coffee is good and the meals are large and tasty I think you get value for money here. It's always busy so that tells you it's popular.
