Thai Terrace - Fort Worth

I visited this restaurant for the second time and had lunch yesterday. The waitress was very friendly, but unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food. I ordered the red curry chicken with white rice, and it was lacking in flavor. Additionally, the portion size was quite small; most Thai restaurants serve a more generous portion. The rice wasn't even the aromatic Thai white or jasmine rice typically found in most Thai establishments; it was just ordinary long-grain rice. I also ordered spring rolls (four of them), and they were just the average spring rolls you'd find at any regular Chinese restaurant. I expected more consideration for traditional Thai flavors since this is a Thai restaurant. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food. It's important to maintain culinary traditions and not cut corners. If you're looking for great Thai food in Fort Worth, I recommend heading to Thai Rice 'N' Noodle on Camp Bowie, Spice on Magnolia Street, or Thai Select Restaurant in the Overton Plaza area.

I absolutely love their food! It's incredibly flavorful and the portions are just right. This place has become a regular spot for me since it's only two miles away. Just a heads up, their lunch specials are fantastic value at around $10-12 per meal, but they've unfortunately discontinued the soup and salad additions.

This has always been my favorite Thai restaurant in Fort Worth, and I still consider it the best. However, there have been some changes over the past few months. Is there new ownership? The curries I had today were incredibly thin, almost like water, with a consistency more akin to soup. While the flavor was good, it was different from what I remember. The last time I dined here, about a month ago, the service was terrible. If I didn't genuinely enjoy the food (at least previously), I wouldn't even consider returning. I'm really curious about why things have changed recently. I'm giving it 2 stars, reflecting my past experience of 5 stars, but now it's closer to a 1.

Let me start off with we?ve been coming here for years. Not only was it the first time we?ve seen the owners, tonight we witnessed pure mediocrity. We were waiting on a to go order for 50 mins. Two plates, and an order of sticky rice. The waitwasn?t the problem, it?s how they were treating the staff. Every-time a waiter requested for an item they completely ignoredthem. Laughed among the kitchen staff actually. They did not care we were waiting for our order for almost an hour, theyactually were in the kitchen laughing and taking everything as a joke. We will not be coming back unfortunately. We come herebecause we loved the ? little mom and pop ? restaurant but after what we witnessed tonight, I will no longer be giving mybusiness here. I do want to say thank you so much to Gloria for trying her best to get the order(s) filled! She is amazing and Ihope she sees her value and go somewhere else where she will be respected Also, our rice wasn?t spicy like we asked. Wastedtime

About one month ago I ate at this restaurant, dine in. I ordered Spicey Beef Salad -Thai hot. It was spot on. Spicey just like I like it. Today I wanted the same dish, so I ordered it to Go. Again i ordered the Spicey Beef Salad Thai hot. It taste washorrible and spice level was nonexistent..... very disappointing. I will dine in again but WILL NOT order to go. Also orderedegg rolls that were good.
