Rio Mambo Fort Worth

Rio mambo is a great place to meet wth friends family or to take a date out to. their food is awesome and the staff is friendly.the bar is great and has everything you could want to drink and ice cold.

We had reservations for 5:15 parking was packed. So we had a little walk. Got in there at 5:20 walked to hostess stand told them about the reservation , evidently they just started using OpenTable and were not aware of the reservation I should them on my phone and we were seated within 5 minutes. Being a Friday and Cinco de Mayo also it was probably an hour wait if not an hour and a half. OpenTable was a life saver

We love Rio Mambo! Have been going there regularly since they opened in 2001 have never had a bad meal or service.

We ordered table side guacamole and it was delicious, However my husband ordered cheese and beef enchiladas and chicken and beef arrived. I like the tortillas and queso. Service was fast but our waitor may have been new or busy or something because it seemed others were picking up the slack.

I normally love the food at Rio Mambo but this time the shrimp was fishy and the tilapia was over cooked. It was a Friday night and they were super busy but we only had to wait about 5 minutes past our reservation time. This was the first time I had tried their seafood. I'll stick with the more tex Mex foods from now on.
