Despite being mostly empty on a Saturday, we were told we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, even though we had made a reservation on Open Table 30 minutes earlier. The hostess took over 5 minutes to appear, and we were ignored by multiple waitstaff. When the hostess finally arrived, we informed her that we were canceling our reservation. It's disappointing to see the decline of this location.
Our server Madison was excellent! The food was delightful and arrived promptly.
After waiting at the table for 20 minutes, we received no service from any waiter or waitress and did not receive any drinks. Despite there being 6 staff members present, they were just standing around joking with each other instead of attending to customers. When we finally decided to leave, a staff member reassured us that they would get our drinks, but 5 minutes later they were still not brought to us. We ultimately chose to leave as the service was extremely poor. This restaurant is incredibly unprofessional.
Ordered Crab Cakes as an appetizer and they came out looking like burned Salmon Croquettes. Wanted a garden side salad with Italian Dressing however the only option was a Ceasar Salad with a Ranch Based Ceasar Dressing
The quality of food is very poor, I thought once they separated from Darden the food quality would certainly go up. The shrimp cocktail is not the same at all. It seems most of the variety of seafood offered is in fact frozen. I can only describe the taste as the inside of a freezer or refrigerator. It’s almost like there is no, flavor at all. I ordered the live main lobster, again the lobster seemed rubbery and again no, flavor at all. I requested steamed and cleaned, very simple. The fish n chips were also a major let down, the fish had no, flavor and was soggy. We were celebrating a birthday and just decided to skip desert, the crab legs that were ordered also seemed like they were not fresh, possibly frozen as well. I would have paid more per entreeitem just to have fresh seafood, and to be honest, with a price point like that I would have thought it would have been fresh seafood anyway. My expectations for Red Lobster were short lived, and on top of the poor food quality at the end of the experience the evaluation from everyone was all the same, no, value and very poor food quality..
