Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

My girlfriend enjoyed the meal, but please include allergen information. I have a peanut allergy and Guss uses peanut oil to fry in. I could not eat anything ordered.

I was very disappointed. The dark was juicy and white meat was dry. There was not much flavor. I put honey which was by kraft. I prefer crystals hotsauce which was louisiana. I assumed from reading "try our honey" it was theirs. The jalpeños were not ready to eat but soaked in the vinegar. They were hard and tasted fresh at least but not ready to eat. I have had the best chicken in "the hood" flavored and seasoned to the bone! Also cheaper and not burnt. Im a chicken lover but my mothers is still the best I have ever had! The fries were stale. So I was honestly hurt I spent $120 on mess! I was so excited but yet very disappointed!

Gus is a classic! this is homemade cooking very well made. they serve only spicy style so wary when they are sensitive, but overall not super hot when they have a decent tolerance. the chicken comes fast, but it is still fresh and it comes hot and crispy. can not go wrong with any side as well as cake to finish the meal!

I know literally every single chicken place claims to be the best. World famous this. Legendary that. Mostly all just hype and advertising. This place is legit some of the best chicken over ever tasted in my entire life. Amazingly juicy. Perfect crunch on the skin without being too hard or too sharp. 100% coming back.

Food is delicious. Best chicken in Ft. Worth. Chicken pieces are huge and the tenders were one of my favorites-also huge! If you haven’t been then you are missing out. Must go!
