This place is pretty cool. I knew it before as Live Oak, so I knew it had a gorgeous upstairs patio. The children aspect kind of weirded me out to be quite honest. We eventually just headed upstairs to the gorgeous view so we could talk.
We stumbled across this fantastic place on our recent family Vacay to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It was the best surprise! You basically pay a set amount at the door, per person. In July of 2023, it was $12.95. Then, you can go in and play over 100 arcade games and pinball machines for free! They even have Skee Ball games! My family had the BEST time! They have a menu for food items, but we weren’t hungry yet when we visited. Their menu consists mostly of mini pizzas and panini style sandwiches. This place also had the best outdoor seating. I’m sure it helps being located in the area that it was. The view from their rooftop tiki bar was spectacular! And the vibe was so great. They had a massive fan, and misters to keep everyone cool, which was definitely a plus in this 100+ Texas heat.y husband had some of their craft beer that was on tap, snd was pleased with what he ordered. I ordered their monthly special the Pina Verde. ORDER IT!!! It was a Pina colada on the rocks with a minty, and slightly spicy flavor.Apparently at 9:00, it’s ages 18+ only…so we left by 9. But I thought that was really nice for date nights and nights out with friends!Overall we seriously loved this spot. Make sure you check it out when you’re in the area. You’ll thank me later.?
FUN! Nice place to play old arcade games for free, including plenty of pinball games. Skeeball and basketball are also available. Their cocktail names are great and they are very good.
Our family loves going to FreePlay. A great way to spend an afternoon with family and friends. The games are always in great shape and working condition. The staff rotates the games through the different locations so selection changes over time (the classics are always there though). Food/Drink selection is just the right size to give you options but not overwhelm you with choices. Staff is always awesome at a FreePlay location. This location is darker than other locations and no windows in the playing areas. It does have a rooftop bar/seating area though that is a huge plus when you aren't ready to leave but just want to hang out with friends before playing more games. Parking can be a challenge so plan ahead and know the options around the Magnolia area.
