The crepes, in particular, are excellent, as are the various specialty coffee drinks (my personal favorite is the Coco mint mocha). Prices are comparable (if not better) to places like IHOP or Denny's, but the quality is at least twice that of those places. I can't comment on the in-person dining service, but when it comes to to-go/delivery, service is always excellent.
Great service and friendly atmosphere. I got the custom skillet and it was exactly what I wanted, just healthier. I did need to add salt, pepper, and Cholula so it had more flavor. Coffee was good and waiter was receptive to just putting the coffee over ice like tea. Biscuit was really good. I think they will struggle when Waffle House opens.
Our server informed us about the breakfast buffet, and we went to check it out. However, I decided to order from the menu since I wanted to stick to a vegetarian meal that day. The buffet included items like bacon, scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, cut fruit, and grits (though I might have missed a few things). Pancakes were also part of the buffet, but they are made to order. Additionally, the buffet came with a complimentary beverage. We ordered Eggs Florentine and coffee. The Eggs Florentine was served with fresh fruit and potatoes—it was decent. However, the coffee wasn't hot, so when I mentioned it to our server, she promptly refilled it with freshly brewed coffee. There's plenty of parking available, and on Saturday morning around 10 AM, it wasn't too crowded, so we were seated right away.
I really enjoyed the breakfast items I ordered. The pancakes were fluffy, large, and delicious—perfectly cooked and not at all dry. The prices were quite reasonable. It's great that they open by 7 AM on weekdays, making it ideal for early risers. There’s a solid selection to cater to various appetites. The stuffed French toast is absolutely delicious!
Now, for the minor drawback: I ordered an apple juice that cost $6.75 with no refills. I was surprised that the fountain drinks were priced similarly to a small glass of whiskey at a bar, which seemed a bit steep. Overall, the place is fantastic and a great find, but I think they could ease up on drink prices by a few dollars.
