Eggcellent P'eats - Fort Saskatchewan

I've always been a fan of breakfast spots that serve bacon, sausage, and eggs. If you prefer fancy breakfast places, that's fine, but this restaurant has a great menu filled with its own specialties. Every time I've dined here, the food has been cooked to perfection. It's quite busy on weekends, which shows just how popular it is. The waitstaff can be swamped on those busy days, but the delicious food makes any wait worthwhile. I often find myself making excuses to come here for breakfast.

The service was quick and friendly, although the restaurant got quite busy, and I noticed that people who came in after us had to wait a bit. No one seemed bothered by it, though—I guess everyone knows the food is worth the wait! The prices might be a little on the higher side, and there's no seniors' menu, but with the quality of food they serve, I think it's well worth it.

The food was just average, and while the staff was friendly, their service was not very attentive. I noticed that the restaurant's Covid safety measures were lacking; they reused the same plastic-covered menus without cleaning them with alcohol between customers. I didn’t see the waitress wash her hands at all, and she continually adjusted her mask while handling food dishes without disinfecting her hands in between. It made the mask seem pointless. Additionally, none of the kitchen staff were wearing masks.

In short, the breakfast here is fantastic, and I highly recommend it, especially for those with gluten intolerance. It’s definitely one of my favorite spots!
