Haneys Café - Fort Myers

The Haneys Café is a charming restaurant. Very clean, the service is great and the food is also very good. I have the cookies, gravy, eggs and hashbrowns. Was hot and full of taste. Will be back. Of course I came back and got the same. Food was hot, delicious, plentiful and a great price. This is definitely the hidden jewel of Ft. Myers. In the morning of 11/14/22 I saw his café that made over 1000 meals for the local Red Cross. How excellent and how to give.

Kicked from Haney's Cafe! A friend and I took my wife to the Haney's Cafe, our favorite location breakfast place. We've been serving Haney's since they opened at the motel on the street many years ago. We ordered our usual breakfast including the Greek Scramble for my wife. What she received was definitely not the Greek Scramble, but Scramble tasting more Tex-Mex. When we told the server that breakfast was wrong, the manager came by and argued with us that it was right. Considering how often we eat there, we know what we ordered and it wasn't. The manager continued to argue that it was right and became very rude about it. I insisted she'd get it back and please do what we ordered. When the manager came back with the new breakfast, she informed us that it was made on separate plates so that we could put the Scramble together and see what we ordered. She also told us she would wait at the table while we ate it. We asked her to leave our table and told her it was rude to stand there to see us how we eat. She refused. This is when I told her she has to go back to managerial school to learn how to treat customers. At this point, the server jumped in and muttered to tell the manager what to do. At this point, the manager took all the food from the table and told us to go. Who knows me, I'm a big supporter of local companies here in San Carlos Park and it hurts me to say I won't eat at once again, before this, my favorite breakfast restaurant.

I visited about six times in the last few years. While I don't stop much, it's a nice little place for breakfast. We have eaten several times on the terrace with the puppies (yes, dog friendly). Servers were always courteous and friendly. The food is consistent and all the complaints we have are minimal. All in all a great place to stop breakfast. We'll be back.

I've had the best lunch for a long time. We had the Cobb Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing and the Cranberry Chicken Salad with a Raspberry Vinaigrette. It was so fresh and a generous portion. Excellent and full!

Wonderful neighborhood cafe. Nice servers and great food. I ordered the big breakfast, with ham, bacon and sausage links. You also get toast and hash browns. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious.
