Crave - Fort Myers

When you walk in, you are not sure what to expect as it is very small and ultra-casual. However, the service was superb, the menu outstanding and the food was awesome. We will be back.

Crave is ALWAYS good but most often, excellent. I have eaten here for dinner 4 times, and my wife has been with the kids probably 10 times. Everytime good especially the meatloaf, the steaks and the wonderful appetizers.

WOW ! Once again I find how mediocre food impress the masses here in SWFL. This place was a total rip off as far as price to quantity and quality. Frist I wish to give outstanding praise for the service of the wait staff. 5 stars !!! Now the food. The cratatoes hashbrowns ? or whatever was oily/greasy .I had less greasy food in a greasy diner on I- 5 in California. The meat lover omelet . What meat????? there was more grilled onions some mushrooms maybe MAYBE a 1/2 slice of bacon a 1/4 link of some possible pork link it appeared to be turkey no flavor. Yes I separated from the others and examined it closely. A weee bit of cheese. the eggs , 2 , were medium size. I have cooked for 40 years I know the size of eggs. All this for the price of 9 dollars. Ahhh I wanted a biscuit instead of toast. A buck more and the bread SUCKED. Kentucky Fried Chicken being a standard. This was horrible. I will not torture you on the downfall of the so called California Omelet. : . Next time I need a good breakfast at a reasonable price it will be El Mambo in the Cape or the IHOP in Fort Myers. Save your taste buds and wallet and go else where.

Went for breakfast this morning...asked for an American cheese and onion omlette...was told you can not build your own omlette and that the onion would be extra...I said ok then repeated that it would be a American cheese and onion omlette..Was then told that they will only make a omlette with three different cheese...I said I only want American cheese...at that the waitress, a surly redhead pushed the menu back into my face and said that if that is the case I had better order something different..with an attitude...oh yes, before all this started I told the waitress that my wife was outside on the phone and that there was no telling how long she would be soI would like to order and she will order when she comes in..the surly redheaded waitress informed me that I would just have to wait then as she had no intention of creating two seperate tickets for one table...we did not bother to stay and went to the sweet bean cafe next to first watch on mc gregor and had a wonderful experience and excellent food..Our new favorite place...needless to say we will never darken the door of Crave again.

I've been dining at Crave since they opened, which I think has been about 3 years. I have never had such wonderful, tasty food anywhere! This establishment is top notch! Service is always great. I would highly recommend Crave to anyone! Warning.... once you go, you will have to return!
