I've been trying this place for a long time. It was over. I had the Carpaccio, Caesar Salat and a pig plier. Everybody was fantastic. But our server was GREAT. To the earth and friendly. She really added the experience. Get 100% back. And it's 5 minutes away from my house. Not to mention great prices when everyone else is overloaded. If you didn't try, come over there!
What an amazing classic Italian experience from cocktails to food and homemade pasta and of course dessert. The reduction for the Bearnaise was fabulous and the Marsala reduction was amazing.
I can't start completely encapsulating how much this place shines with hospitality. The hostess who held the door for me, the Busjunge Reese, who practically burst with Charisma, and my server Wayne, who somehow always knew exactly what I needed before I even did; they all pretended to be watching me, growing up and know me for years. Wayne explained the menu thoroughly and how carefully designed each recipe was, and went over his personal favorites. I went with the soup of the day $6) and a Wayne-recommended spaghetti and meatballs $16). Did I eat better elsewhere? Probably. Do I remember the name of one of the employees, or that the bus boy wants to be an EMT, or that the owners make the Ravioli themselves every morning? No. The strong suit of CIBO is her exemplary service, which left me an unforgettable impression, although the food was still quite good. The staff stopped talking to all the guests as if they were sitting on the table and waiting. The family next to me had 4 different employees to stop and chat, so I finally asked if they often came here and they told me every week! I was a little over 30 minutes at CIBO, but I went with a full stomach, a smile and a sense of cosiness that I wanted to share with everyone I saw. My sum came to $23.43, plus a $10 tip I just wish I had left Wayne and Reese a bigger one. I write this review in their parking lot, because I immediately had to know how phenomenal an employee CIBO had occupied. I was only in Ft. Myers on a business trip, but I will make sure that CIBO recommends my colleagues and stop in town for the next time.
This is a one of a kind place in the area. Some people would call it an elegant hole in the wall. A rather small restaurant was a touch of a family. Very friendly and professional staff, Started with the hostess, Bar tenders, And waiting staff. The food is fresh and cooked to order. Great choices of appetizers and main dishes. Absolutely delicious. For many people a dinner at CIBO is an experience, as it should be
