El Pilon - Fort Myers Beach

We ordered Mofongo, and it was fantastic! The pork cracklings and shrimp were equally delicious. I absolutely loved the passion fruit juice, and the coconut flan was to die for—just perfect! The restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. The service was excellent as well; the staff was attentive and friendly.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was very good, the staff was very nice. That was my first experience to eat here. Our server was very helpful and offered wonderful suggestions. We will definitely be back when we return to our next holiday. We also had the Vanilla Flan. It was amazing.

El Pilon was an excellent discovery. We drove past Sanibel and decided to stop and explore it. They offer everything you would expect from a typical Puerto Rican restaurant. I highly recommend it. Just a note: if you're using GPS, it might direct you to a nearby gas station up the road. The restaurant is located next to the Burlington Store in the South Plaza shopping center.

Mofongo is fantastic! I had the Chicken Carnitas with Moro rice and a sweet plantain. While the chicken was a bit dry, it was still tasty. The Guanabana shake was delicious. The server was very friendly; although the wait time was a bit long, we really enjoyed the food. Thank you!

Wow, wow, wow!!! I am visiting from Maui and there is no good Latin food there. Being Puerto Rican, I knew this was my opportunity to get some good food. I somehow landed on El Pilón. The photos honestly don’t do justice. I wish you could taste the flavor of these dishes when you see the photos in the reviews. Hands down, que sabor! The best meal of our entire trip. We started in Indiana to visit family and took a road trip all the way to Cape Coral. To top it off, David our server was great. Very sweet and attentive to our table. It was myself and my four crazy kids. He was always so kind to see if we needed anything. Thank you David! I hope to be back one day just for the food and David’s service!!! Hasta luego
