Mugs Coffee Lounge - Fort Collins

Tassen is my go-to spot near campus whenever I want coffee or a bite to eat! The staff is always incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about allergies and vegan options. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Ten dollars for a breakfast burrito is way too pricey. I can walk a few blocks to the Mountain Avenue Market and get one for just four dollars. Plus, the offerings at Mountain Avenue change daily. This review is based on my previous experience on April 7, 2022.

Sometimes they have vegan breads like pumpkin bread and sometimes they dont. Vegan breakfast burrito is worth a try also.

Mugs is a great coffee shop with multiple non-dairy milk options, vegan smoothies, and a few vegan menu items. Over the years their vegan menu has changed a lot, but they typically label things as vegan which is really helpful and they can make many menu items vegan if you ask. Current menu items include wraps and bagel sandwiches. Good place for a quick, low-key lunch.

Tassen is my favorite coffee shop in the city. It offers a wonderful atmosphere, delicious drinks, and a fantastic selection of vegan snacks. I absolutely love their vegan breakfast burritos, and they often have tasty options in the bakery, like pumpkin bread and vegan cheese pizza. There are usually some vegan options featured in the monthly specials as well. The vegan burritos come hot and fresh from the kitchen, rather than being reheated, which is a nice touch. My favorite drink there is the spicy chai with milk!
