The Loj Cafe - Forest Lodge

This restaurant appeared to be very family-friendly. It was mainly filled with parents and their children, along with us. We were looking to try out new places for breakfast and stumbled upon this one. The menu had some good options and the portion sizes were just right - not too large, but not too small either. While it may not be the best place for Instagram-worthy photos, it is worth a visit for a decent breakfast in the Glebe area, where good breakfast spots are hard to find.

Probably one of the best breakfasts I've had. I had poached eggs that were then quick fried to get a little crust but still oozed delicious yolk when cut. Paired with smoked ham like mum used to do. And the coffee is superb. A really creative menu and I had food envy for the other choices too!

Easy, delicious and inventive brunch menu. One of the few places that serves breaky dishes all day! Who wants to have brunch before midday on a Sunday? So pleased to find this spot. Exceptional service, the staff / owners really care about your experience and want you to have a great meal. I was pregnant and had to be that annoying customer and ask to swap the salmon on my dish and have my eggs well cooked (as much as both of those requests kill me inside) and they were so nice about it. Was a bit hot as no air con but apart from that atmosphere is great and intimate. Highly recommend.

The food at this new café is superb. I had the Bubble & Squeak and boy had it come a long way from Boxing Day leftovers. The service is attentive and friendly. The prices are very reasonable especially given the quality. I will definitely be making the trip to Forest Lodge again to dine at the Loj.

Hi hear about this cafe went and order a coffee to go .and l have tell you that l was was surprised. To me personally if you received reviews should the sevcice and quality be the same all no matter if its take away or not .being Australia day l know it was busy l don't think at customer that order take away shouldn't be any different from a sit down customer. But l have stay while I was waiting for my coffee the food did look at amazing l will go back to try the food. But guy's care on take away shouldn't be as good as the dine in
