Oscars Grill - Forest Lodge

Stopped for lunch yesterday. Bangers & mash, which I had not eaten since the UK years ago. Delicious! With mushy peas, which was a new one on me, but so tasty. Their bar has an excellent selection of drafts. The staff is friendly & the prices are reasonable. I'd say it is a winner!

Visited with family while staying nearby. Traditional pub with open kitchen, order food at bar from the short menu. We all had steak - nicely cooked exactly as ordered, quickly served and simply presented. James Squire beer was excellent - probably helped by the brewery being just 100 metres down the road!

Had dinner at this pub/grill right on Parramatta Road. Waygu beef burger was absolutely delicious, so fresh, so tender, so very good :) Nice atmosphere, staff friendly and happy which is always a good sign. Two chefs in the open kitchen clearly enjoy their work. Highly recommend you get here for lunch or dinner you will not regret it!!!

Great pub right on Parramatta Road in Camperdown at the Camperdown Hotel. There are different specials everyday for dinner and $10 lunch specials from 11am-3-m that are great. The chicken schnitzel burger is pretty unique and comes with two nice pieces of chicken, guacamole, and salsa and was definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had in Sydney. It's excellent pub food. If you're in the area and looking for a good lunch spot look no further. Great food, great prices, friendly staff and speedy service. Top notch.
