I opted for the sticky braised eggplant bowl with scrambled eggs, sesame, coriander, and chili. The dish was bursting with flavor, with the eggplant melting in my mouth and complementing the eggs perfectly. This humble dish, traditionally served with rice, was given a twist by using eggs for added protein, creating a paleo version. The quesadilla was another standout item, with thin and crispy tortillas encasing a cheesy bean mixture. It was served with jalapeno sour cream on the side for you to add as desired. You can also choose traditional guacamole or edamole made from edamame beans for a lighter, protein-rich option. The cafe offers a delightful selection of teas and great coffee, and the service is friendly and relaxed, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
I was intrigued by the vegan breakfast burrito and made sure to visit when I had the opportunity. It did not disappoint - the burrito was delicious, very spicy, and filled with plenty of tasty ingredients. The restaurant also had a charming outdoor area for dogs.
Great home made style food that’s too tempting not to leave without. Good vibe and nothing in comparison within walking distance. A good find.
In the interest of exploration, I chose the most interesting looking cafe for brunch I could on Zomato (and peaking at Google reviews too) and we tried this place on a Saturday morning. I expected a regular old hipster café, and that’s what it looks like with its cold drop coffee and delicious looking pastries at the counter. But we happened to try the breakfast bowls, and I loved the Asian influence. If they do just as well with their breakfast burritos, then this place is totally a winner.
