For a big fried rice, it was good, quick, and I love yum yum, but if I'm going to buy darra better worth
We tried the Peking duck course because of the good reviews but it wasn’t good. Because we opted to have the pancakes with duck skin and the duck chopped up to take home. There was not much cucumber and spring onion with duck pancake. But what made it no good was I don’t believe we received the duck exactly. When I went to make dinner using my takeaway duck there were duck legs and various pieces of duck bones with not much meat on them. I believe they didn’t give us the duck breast and kept that for themselves to make other dishes. If it wasn’t for the deceit, I would’ve gave more stars. I can see that I have been ripped off but too late to do anything about it because I opted to take away the duck. It would have been better if they gave me the duck in front of me so we could eat it at the restaurant but apparently that was not an option so all the more reason that believe I did not receive the duck as a whole. You can’t fool me. I won’t come back to this place because of this dishonesty. If the owner tries to rebutt this review then explain how a duck has legs and no breast. Also it costed for this totally disappointing dinner so quite expensive for what it is.
I when to yum yum Peking duck on I had the fried rice and two course Peking duck. This place is over priced for what you get, there is better value out there. Food and service was good.
The best Peking duck in Brisbane. Unpretentious, friendly, and an easy place to eat on your own or with a big group of friends or family.
