Que Huong Restaurant Vietnamese & Chinese Traditional Seafood

We attended here for our evening meal with friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Well what a terrible place. The service was awful. They forgot our reservation. Children were screaming on the stage and the noise was terrible. The meals were brought out at extremely late intervals. The quickest service we got was when we asked for the bill Never ever will we eat here again!! Disgraceful.

The selection and quality of the food is fantastic. We were in a large group and each couple ordered a different meal which we then all shared from the central carousel. If you want alcohol, it is a BYO. If you want an intimate atmosphere, this is not for you, but if your companions are good, then you'll really enjoy it there.

I had been once before and the food and atmosphere was good , but sadly that was not the case this time. I will explain why. Wait staff were milling around but not attentive. Questions on menu were vaguely answered or referred to somebody else. Meals arrived one at a time even thought we had ordered individual not shared meals. There was quite a gap between meals. Waiter brought out lemon duck but announced it was some sort of chicken meal. Next plate arrived and that waiter advised previous meal was actually duck and the one he presented was the crispy chicken. The eater of the duck suggested it was dry, chewy and not too enjoyable. Another extended gap between servings. Plate of vegetables arrived when we were all just about finished. Price wise mid range, but added prices over the top. $10.50 plate of green vegetables $4 for a very small dish of chopped chilli to about quarter of a small chilly Bill for 4 with not drinks just under $110.00 This place appears to have lost its way and in a very competitive market with plenty of good options close by, hopefully will improve its standards for future customers, which we all agreed would not include us, as we felt from this experience there are to many better options in the area.

This place is known for cheap lobster and crab by the kg, and they know how to cook it well, food is pretty good but the atmosphere in the restaurant needs to be knocked down and start with a new fitout, super old and doesnt make u feel like a restauraunt when eating there. To top it off this place is located in darra, i genuinely like this place but everytime someone suggests this place, i remember its in darra and do not want to go there anymore. overall good food but restaurant lacks design and located in a bad area

We chose this restaurant for a birthday dinner evening. It was spacious, open and well lit. The menu was very extensive which made choosing our meals both a challenging and a little daunting. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our waiter lacked knowledge of the meals and his manner did not instil confidence. Our first choice of salt and pepper was a hit. The lemongrass and chilli pork chops was also good. However, the combination fried rice was bland with no flavour at all. The Ho Fun noddles was similar with very little flavour. Quite a disappointing dinner.
