Benjamin's Great Cows And Crabs

The first time: our server was great, the food was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I know we're coming back!

Friday lunch regular. 3 to 6 of us have lunch on most Fridays Benjamins. It is the ONLY restaurant where we would dare to order a hamburger rare. Although the menu is somewhat limited, they have specials which change every day (at least every Friday). Its very rare to get a poorly cooked item. Biggest weakness- In the winter, stay away from the windows as they are poorly insulated

Great food. I had a great experience at Benjamin's! I ordered the fillet mignon with lump crab meat and a parmesan béarnaise and it was incredible! The service was wonderful! I will defiantly go back!

Excellent Service. Benjamin's is one of those rare restaurants that actually cares about what their customers like and wants to make people feel like they are at home. Come enjoy some of the best steaks and seafood in town. Their Hoof-and-Claw is fantastic, with a filet steak and a house-made crab cake. Or come and try one of their specials of the day. This is a restaurant that always has great specials, and those specials are never on the regular menu. When you're ready for dessert, give one of Mamma Sue's fantastic home-made desserts a try. They are ever changing and the home-made goodness is one fantastic way to end a meal.

Anytime we come thru VA we try to have a plan on stopping in to eat and seeing Mama Sue Ben. Visited last night on our way home to Knoxville. Zach was great at the bar. Enjoyed talking with Melissa Chris as well. Rose(I believe that's the correct name, forgive me if not) with your cute polka dot hairband, always a pleasure to see your smiling face and that you remember us. The New York strip was FABULOUS! Didn't get any dessert last night. Missed seeing Mama Sue, hopefully next time. Thanks Ben!!!
