Okami - Footscray

For the quality of the food! for the service! for the value for money! Guys I don’t understand how this place could have a bad review! Im sorry that’s not allowed! The service is impeccable and the food is freshly cooked or made (sushi/sashimi) every time you order! I’ve been there 2 times now and tried all the all-you-can-eat menu! 1st experience: we were the last table to be seated that night and there were 2 big tables of ~20 people each, so the service was obviously a little bit slow down, understandable, but how the staff took care of us, OMG!

The food is delicious, and I always leave feeling satisfied! While the staff could be a bit friendlier, my experience was mostly positive. I attempted to order a glass of red wine, but they informed me that only bottles are available. Despite this, I would definitely return, as it offers great value for money.

Not as good as I had hoped. The food was not as fresh, the sushi tasted cold and the seafood on it wasn't fresh in taste. Fried food also very oily and ice cream was super frozen and not creamy. However I did enjoy the gyoza.

Food is not fresh, especially for the fried food. Very oily and overcooked. Not making sense to provide poor quality food, and charging people for not finishing it. But I really appreciate that their staff are nice.

At $38.90, this is an excellent spot for all-you-can-eat Japanese cuisine. Be sure to try the beef carpaccio and the large chicken; they are essential dishes. The portion sizes here are more generous compared to other Okami restaurants, and the food appears to be prepared with greater care and attention.
