McDonald's - Footscray

You get Mcdonalds, which shouldn't surprise anyone. Sometimes it's just what you want, but you know your standards are low at that moment.

What can you say? It's a McDonalds. It is a well-run franchise. It's a 24-hour joint, popular with cops and other late-night workers. You can see that at times they are understaffed and the tables aren't cleared promptly, but they try and usually it is good. The $1 specials around midnight are very popular and a great deal. The outside tables can be a bit cold and bleak.The staff here are very friendly and helpful - just young kids mostly, but they can see I am old and frail and they usually say, 'sit down, we'll bring it'. Sometimes I have to ask - I can't carry cups of coffee reliably - and they are always happy to agree. For that I give them top marks.
