I enjoyed a soy latte as well as a slice of vegan banana bread on my way to work this morning. Both were great! The staff were lovely and happy to help with any questions about what's vegan. There were a few stools at little tables outside, but it was mostly takeaway. They were happy to let me get my coffee in a keep cup to avoid waste.
This place has vegan banana bread and, when I visited, some muffins. Muffins were about 4.50, which I thought was an exception in foot-cray too much. Banana bread was an approx. 3 mice I think it was moist and tasty and not too sweet! Too bad coffee was kind of bad. It is worth stopping if you are hungry for something sweet near the train station
The coffee is pretty good, and the location is excellent for grabbing a cup before boarding or while waiting for your train. The staff are just as friendly as at Dad and Dave's, and they offer a nice variety of vegan treats. It was a bit chilly to sit outside during our recent visit, so we decided to take our coffees to the station. It will definitely be more enjoyable in the summer!
The enticing smell of doughnuts may draw you in, but sadly, they aren’t vegan. However, you can savor some delicious pumpkin bread (a nice alternative to banana bread) alongside a coffee while passing through Footscray Station. The location is very convenient, and there are always some tempting vegan treats available. The coffee is quite good too; I particularly enjoyed mine with almond milk. There are a few tables to sit at, making it a great spot for people-watching.
