I really liked the place very quaint lovely old world fell very good value.. I'd give it 6 stars but that leisure centre is terrible .. so bad we didn't even go.. nothing that a good lick of paint could fix and a quick visit to woodies sale for a bit of furniture for beside the pool... I understand why online the photo is taken behind a curtain.. come on lads such a great spot .. oh ye the strawberries dipped in chocolate were so bad even on the second attempt...otherwise I will defo be back

Had afternoon tea yesterday and to say it was best one I've had yet.. Loads of servings compared to some I've had in other hotels and that cost almost twice as much. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Had afternoon tea here yesterday. We couldn't fault it the food was beautiful and there was plenty of refills of tea. The waitress looking after us was very attentive. The ambiance of this hotel is just lovely. I would recommend the afternoon tea in this hotel.

Had a great time with my family at Finnstown Castle. The staff was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. Ireland was without a doubt one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen. If you're planning a vacation here, I highly recommend this hotel and it is only 15-20 minutes from Dublin.

Excellent grounds, food, service and accommodation, from start to finish a pleasure to deal with. Jason is exceptional in everything he does and he went well above and beyond to make sure our day was special. Elaine was also excellent and was there to lend a hand with my endless essays, I mean emails Thank you all so much you gave us a day we will never forget
