I've been eating here for years. my wife and I visited at least once a week. the curries are made without fish sauce and all meal times have the opportunity to work either sweet or tofu instead of meat. susan, the owner, is sweet and extremely hard. the prices are very good, especially the lunch. taste the massemann with tofu or the basilikum roast rice. tasty enjoy! dokan
I ordered a Tofu Curry to go but when I arrived, it was made with chicken instead. As a restaurant with a "Happy Cow" sticker on the window, I expected better quality options.
I have been dining at this restaurant for years. My wife and I come here at least once a week. The curries are made without fish sauce, and all dishes can be made with vegetables or tofu instead of meat. Susan, the owner, is kind and works very hard. The prices are great, especially for lunch. I highly recommend trying the Massaman curry with tofu or the basil roasted rice - both are delicious. Enjoy your meal at Dokan!
Upon arriving at the restaurant, nestled at the end of a Kroger's shopping strip, we found convenient parking right in front. The interior of Noodle Swing was charming, with cherry decor and subtle old-time swing music playing overhead. The ambiance made us forget we were in a strip shopping center next to Kroger's. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, with most meat dishes able to be substituted with tofu and vegetables. We ordered three entrees and an appetizer of spring rolls with peanut sauce, all of which were delicious and came in generous portions. My favorite dish was the Drunken Master flare noodles, which exceeded expectations. We also enjoyed the veggie pad thai and red curry with tofu. We were tempted to try the dumplings, but unfortunately they only came with pork filling. The owner was friendly and attentive, guiding us through the menu and helping us make selections. If we ever find ourselves back in Dallas, we would not hesitate to return to Noodle Swing. The restaurant's correct address is [insert link], as the one listed on Happycow is outdated.
