Istanbul Cuisine Flower Mound

We have lived in the Middle East, and know great middle eastern food maybe it was an off night, but everything was pretty bland. We ordered the hummus (best thing we ordered), pink sultan, tabouleh salad, kibbeh, lentil soup and a gyro platter. For the price this did not have the flavor I was hoping for. Super nice staff, but less than average food.

Great Turkish food. The portions are just right, the service is attentive and the prices fair. Recommended. Oh, they also sometimes give you free baklava and tea!

We had a large order and almost every order was wrong. We were told the items we were ordering from the website menu are not what they have which didn't make any sense. They gave us hummus with NO pita bread. My salad was gross and wilted with slimy lettuce. I ordered a gyro lunch special and the picture is what I received. The only good thing was the hummus and tatziki.

This is a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant. We both had the gyro plate and were pleasantly surprised by the portion and quality of the meat. Rice and salad were also included both were very tasty. We were given complimentary pita bread with hummus I loved their hummus. Great value, we will be back!

We started our meal in reverse with the baklava, which was delicious and set a high standard for the rest of the evening. The oven-baked lamb shank that came next was excellent, featuring tender meat that melted in my mouth. The calf's liver was also enjoyable, though I prefer a bit more flavor. Overall, the dining experience was well-organized, with attentive service and generous portions of high-quality dishes.
