Anamia's Tex Mex Flower Mound

We have been longtime fans of Anamia's and visited them last Thursday. The food was fantastic; however, we had a less than ideal experience on the patio. The music was overly loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. It took multiple requests before the volume was lowered. Additionally, a group of mothers allowed their children to run wild on the patio while they drank margaritas and dined. Despite our polite request for the children to be seated, the mothers refused and were quite rude. It was disappointing to see children being allowed to disrupt other diners. As parents ourselves, we believe in teaching children how to behave in public places. We hope these children eventually learn how to treat others with respect.

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent! My personal favorite dish is the spicy enchiladas - I always ask for them with ground beef, and they never disappoint. If you enjoy spicy food, this dish is one of the best in my opinion. Overall, all the food at this restaurant is outstanding and deserves more than 5 stars!

This restaurant is well-known in the area for being one of the most reliable Tex-Mex spots in DFW. The guacamole is amazingly fresh and delicious, and the overall food is a good value in terms of portion size, quality, and price. Unfortunately, the only downside was the terrible service. We were truly taken aback by how slow and inattentive our server was. I'll attribute it to the current labor shortage. Keep in mind that spicy is their default option. They make everything as spicy as possible, including the salsa, which is practically like a bowl of hot sauce.

Our group of adults kids were seated quickly; service by Rachel who very attentive to our table. Fish tacos were an excellent dinner!

They can make things gluten free!!!! I ate their chips and ordered a corn quesadilla, which you can’t find anywhere. All of it was delicious. My only regret is not ordering guacamole as the small amount that came with my order was amazing!
