The service was friendly and the food was delicious and unique, featuring Indian, Nepali, and other Himalayan specialties. They offer a separate Vegan menu as well as Vegetarian and Vegan options on the main menu. Our favorite dish was the saag tofu, which was even better than any dairy version we've had. We would definitely return to try more of their diverse and tasty dishes.
The atmosphere is a mix of lush palast meets comfortably, unmarried place to relax. I would have felt as comfortable on a date night as I had in the travel clothes, little child in the tow. the service was warm and the food was delicious and unusual. we love Indian foods of many regions, but the addition of Nepalese and other Himalayan specialties would bring us back again and again when we live in front of the site. they have a separate vegan menu that makes it easier, but also other vegetarian and vegan dishes are clogged by the main menu. our favorite dish was the saag tofu. panneer was one of the hardest milk products for me to give up when I went vegan, and this saag non-peffer is better than any milk version I had.
After exploring the Grand Canyon, we stopped by this restaurant for lunch. It has a convenient parking lot and clean restrooms. The interior decor gave off an old and slightly unkempt vibe, but the food was surprisingly delicious. We started with the aloo chilli appetizer, which featured raw vegetables alongside boiled and fried potatoes. The sauce was tasty, but we wished the onions and bell peppers were cooked a bit more. For our main dishes, we ordered butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, garlic naan, and rotis. The food tasted fresh and was perfectly spiced to Indian standards. The rotis were particularly impressive, and the garlic naan remained soft for a long time. Both the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala were fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our main course. The staff was also wearing masks, which we appreciated.
Having read other reviews, I had high expectations for the food at this restaurant. I can't speak to its authenticity, but the flavors were fantastic to me. We tried a variety of dishes, including the fried noodles, which were delicious. The saag naan was particularly excellent. The service was friendly, which enhanced the overall dining experience.
First we dined-in for lunch with momo chilli, chicken thukpa, lamb chowmein and mango ice-cream. We loved each of them, especially the first one! Then we ordered (for take-out) chicken momo , aloo chilli, Luksha samdeh (lamb gravy with potato). All 3 were fab! Lamb gravy was like bengali goat curry.
