I went to dinner after a long day in grand canyon with friends. we had chicken vindaloo and butter chickens. reis is free. that was great. especially the butter chicken. staff were welcome. highly recommended.
We visited this place for lunch after the grand canyon. It has a parking lot too. There were restrooms too. The decor made the place look old and a bit untidy. But the food was delicious. We got aloo chilli appetizer. It had uncooked vegetables except boiled and fried potatoes. The sauce was good but we would have liked it the onions and the bell peppers to be partially cooked atleast. We had ordered butter chicken and paneer tikka masala, gralic naan and rotis. The food felt fresh and appropriately spiced as per Indian standards. The rotis were legit. The naan had enough garlic and was soft for a long time. The butter chicken and Paneer tikka masala was awesome too. We loved the main course. The staff was wearing mask.
This place is dark except if you want to sit in the elevated area. They have a bunch of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. I had Tadka Dal and I was disappointed with the taste, flat with no flavor, and not even mild spicy (1 out of 5) that I asked. Vegetable Pakoras was tasty though and the sauces that came with it was a good complement to the appetizer. The washroom was a nasty surprise! That took one whole star out of three I initially considered.
We began our lunch with Momo chili, chicken thukpa, lamb chow mein, and mango ice cream, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed, especially the Momo chili. For take-out, we ordered chicken momo, potato chili, and lamb curry with potatoes (luksha samdeh), all three of which were fabulous. The flavors were rich and the portions were generous. The lamb gravy was particularly tasty, reminiscent of goat cheese.
