Denny's - Flagstaff

My family came in the other night at 12:30 clock we had just finished a concert and starved. our waiter carl was amazing and our food was delicious. I'm not sure who was our cook, but thank you too. we were served with the highest respect and attention. many thanks to that they open and so welcoming for hungry tired people.

8/27/22 got here at 8:15 pm it's 9:30 pm so no food. Got the food at 9:40 pm. No one checked in for more drinks, nope not until they had been empty just under 30 min. This could have gone so much better had they checked in from time to time. People are usually forgiving for short staff on duty if they can be acknowledged. We're sitting here with a bunch of other angry people. Two couples have left because they couldn't even get the first glass of water. All angry people saying the same thing. The servers are getting their own drinks over and over. Chatting to the cook, clearly only one cook so that's not good. Leave her alone. Check in with your paying customers. Stop taking drinks behind the counter in front of the people who are getting pissed off because they can't get a drink. Let them know why you're running behind. Communication would have helped this very poor service. Oh and when the food got to us, it was half cold, half hot, burnt hash browns. With as terrible as the service was, the food didn't make it all better. We ordered extra gravy, didn't get it. Then with all things going bad, he's telling me he will have to charge me for a second cocoa. Another chance to make things better. Nope! Not gonna happen. Will not be back, headed to IHOP tomorrow.

Me and my brother stopped in to eat and were from out of town the first thing I asked for was my dessert which was the cheesecake and the gentleman said he would get it right away I asked again before the food came for my cheesecake three different times and he's like yeah I'll get it right now right when I asked for the check he still haven't brought me the cheesecake once you gave me the check he had the cheesecake already in a to-go container by that time I didn't want the cheesecake my brother got his dessert which was not right he charged them for four scoops ice cream when he only gave him three which he only asked for one scoop the guy was very rude and I don't understand how he still working there with his customer service my compliments to the Cook but the waiter waited on us was very lousy

Dosen't look like much when you walk past, but me and my partner where really hungry . The host has sed welcome , just give us a couple of mins , we will get your table ready . It was a tipical Thursday morning . It wasn't busy . the host past four times . We where thinking maybe she forgot about us . My partner said let's leave because we waited about 15 min. Then the server Deanna.C come towards us immediately and sat us down . she was an amazing server . We need more like her out in the restaurant world . She was sweet and loving . I give her more then five stars so generous. God bless her heart .

If you're traveling and trying to stick to a schedule this place is definitely not recommended. This location is understaffed, our waitress was maxed out attending to all the tables meanwhile our food sat in the kitchen for a very long time. I saw the a manager sitting on her laptop at one of the tables, listen if you see your staff struggling and your customers getting impatient; get up and help. We were ready to walk out but our food came at that moment. All and all save your time and money and eat elsewhere
