The Youngbloods - Fitzroy

Right next to the Rose St Artist Market, Youngbloods is a great spot to eat brunch before spending all your money on trinkets. This is my favourite spot to catch up with a girlfriend on the weekend. It's always buzzing and has a gorgeous rooftop garden area to dine in. Delicious breakfasts and an ever-changing menu.

Ate there last weekend. Trendy setting, loved the feel of the place, but the pasta dish, with peas, chilli and cheese, sounded awesome, but for $19, was grossly overpriced.The flavours were awesome, but really, the serving size I would not even call an entrée size.I'm happy to pay good money for a meal, but seriously, $19 for this was exorbitant.I'll go back again and give it the benefit of doubt, but it seriously needs to reconsider some of it's offerings to keep patrons.

What a gem - probably the best place for breakfast in Fitzroy. Tasty, fresh ingredients cooked expertly and delivered to the table with a smile. What more could you ask? Great coffee? - you get that too!

Fantastic meal, friendly service in an idyllic setting. The menu offered plenty of surprising delights - I praise the person who created 'maple beans'. Deeeelish!

I had lunch at the Young Bloods Diner during my visit to the Rose Street Artists' Market. Love the English country-style themed cafe and cosy ambience. Although items on the menu are not extensive, they serve really good quality food. I tried the Roasted Chicken Salad with Quinoa which was really yummy. One of the best salads I've tried in ages! This cafe is not to be missed if you are in Rose Street!
