The menu is extensive so we had trouble deciding as everything looked like it would be wonderful. We chose 6 dishes to share including a special of the day. Prawn dumplings, eel sushi, beef teriyaki, rice and the mixed box which included oysters tuna octopus and omelette. Every mouthful was a taste sensation and the beef cooked to perfection. Definitely a top restaurant with lovely service.
I ate in this little restaurant twice in one week, the ambience is quiet and elegant, the food is beautifully presented. Specials of soft shell crab and gyoza were very good, miso tasty, the edamame and mixed tempura both generous. Small stone jars of warm sake were of good quality.
We dined here mid week as a walk-in late in the evening for us - 9.20. We selected a number of dishes from the entree specials board to share, and were more than a bit surprised with the quality of the dishes. We love Japanese, and I'm sure we'll be back here soon. Service was very good, decent but small wine list and a good range of sake.
We actually bought a Living Social deal for a 10 course meal at for $69 including a glass of wine. The food and service was fabulous. Will definitely come back. The atmosphere was welcoming and semi intimate.
