Our teenage kids chose the restaurant as they liked the look of the shabby chic style, with tables wrapped round the outside. The staff were charming and a bit chaotic (our food was served in a staggered over 5 mins and one of the main dishes forgotten until we reminded them). However this wasn't an issue for us as it was a great spot for people watching and being entertained by passing buskers. The food was lovely and our waitress recommended a local wine. We had fish and zucchini lasagne, artichoke tomato ravioli, a lovely mixed salad, pasta pomodoro and local sausages, roasted veg potatoes, 2 deserts, prosecco, wine, lemoncello soft drinks. The bill came to €109.
We had a lovely meal here while on holidays in Finale Ligure. The lady serving us was so kind and welcoming and was particularly sweet to our 4 year old. I had the Mille foglie of vegetables to start which was very well done. My pasta with mussels was delicious but a little over salted. We had a very nice dessert and wine was also good. Very reasonably priced as well.
Despite sitting outside in a side street there is seating available inside) the whole food experience was great. The owner spoke excellent English so was able to explain what was on the specials menu that night. As she does all the cooking herself the menu wasn't extensive but if you like good wholesome food cooked superbly then make your way to this restaurant!
Tables and chairs looked a bit basic, but it was nicely set up and the menu got me to want to stay there. this is as tasty as home made food, it doesnt taste standard (no matter where you eat it, it will taste the same). it was the flavour of the cook that came out and i really enjoyed that. wine was nice too, despite being on the street side, it was very relaxing and delicious. thanks for the experience !
