Cucco - FINALE LIGURE

Nice location up in the hills we had a very pleasant dinner. Ask for a table outside : the inside is large and might get quite noisy. Food and wine good

My partner was really excited about coming here because of all the fantastic reviews. The service was excellent but the food was okay. We had the octopus salad and it was very bland. Nothing special. Then we had the long pasta with shrimp and artichokes. Unfortunately, it was way too salty. The shrimps were excellent but the dish was way too salty. For our main dish we had fried mixed (it was good but was missing some kind of sauce). It just didn’t have a wow factor. We also had the fish of the day with artichokes, which was slightly overcooked. The salad as a side dish was good. We also order a tiramisu (nothing special). The chocolate cake was excellent- very light and delicious. Overall my partner was very disappointed. I think this is because we had high expectations. Location and service was great but the food did not have wow factor.

Trattoria Cucco offers solid Italian fare with attentive service, though the atmosphere indoors is a bit dull with its beige decor. However, I imagine dining on the terrace in the summer would elevate the experience. While the food is well-prepared, it lacks standout ingredients or inventive combinations, resulting in a pleasant but unremarkable dining experience.

Even if it was all good has disappointed my expectations and even a little expensive

Nice place located on the Ligurian final heights, spectacular panoramic view,it is not really cheap but the quality is the freshness of the food you know you pay...in any case I would return.
