La Grotta - FINALE LIGURE

Maybe a bit relative, but compared to La Pecatto next door and other establishments in Finale, this is world appart. Very clean and airy, owner or manager was all over the place, I would say quite harsh with at least one of the I guess newer employees. That aside, the service was impecable (not a common thing it seems in Finale, based on our other experiences), they were efficient, got the order right (again, not a given here), food was delicious.

The food is OK, spesial the pizza, but we where the two times and never got å smile from the staff, so total is better other places

Holiday in Italy without a good pizza? NO WAY! Go to La Grotta and see what they can do with some pieces of wood in a stone oven. Amazing. We had to come back, so I can say Calzone or regular pizza you have to try it to believe it. Years ago I visited La Ventola in Vada, Tuscany where a world title holder wizard is preparing pizzas in a rotation process resulting in the most extreme of pizza delight. In La Grotta they have a pizzaiolo who comes so close I could believe it was the same man in a new location. JUST GO THERE and get convinced. Best regards, Troels Andersen Zemp, Switzerland

Lontano dalla folla della costa , ma comunque ad un tiro di schioppo , c’è questa trattoria davvero carina ! La vista e’ il contorno per una cena in cui troverete cucina casalinga ,accoglienza genuina . La proprietaria ,signora super simpatica ! Ci vediamo presto !

Frequentavo questa trattoria sin da piccola durante le mie vacanze liguri, il ritorno dopo anni non ha smentito il ricordo dei sapori di quei tempi, gestita alla perfezione da personale competente, ottimi gli antipasti e i dolci, semplicità in mezzo alla natura!
