Beautiful fashonable indoor atmosphere, food was disappointing bland moderate, plus in line with the obvious Italian tradition of serving their main dishes HALF AN HOUR APART. Prices reasonable, service friendly but flakey. A bit like a king for a month in Tuscany but ended with a bland boring meal tgat lasted an hour to come. A loser.
This is the restaurant in the Milan Malpensa Hotel, 1st floor, and that means that the floor directly above the registration on the 0th floor. I was here a year ago and totally in love. But this time, the food in the night was craziness. Cold rolls but delicious. Ravioli was hard, not really al dente. It just seemed dry and not juicy, but I liked the fish with the sweet orange bark. You should highlight the fish or not even mention it in the description. The fish strips were eating more like fish. Breakfast is satisfactory. You have someone who produces omelets, so it is very nice for Americans who use great American breakfasts, and they still have all the foundations of a great European breakfast. A big highlight for me, the impressive honeycomb blanket. I've never seen one before.
Very good food, but small quantities. I was hungry after two courses. The scallops were delicious and also the salmon. They give bread at the beginning so that I am filled. The restaurant looks very good. Clean and waiting staff friendly.
I traveled quite often and that was perhaps the best hotel at Essen airport I had.
I was very impressed by my first meal in Milan. I stayed at the Sheraton out of convenience and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the restaurant. The plant game was strong, and they even had tiny real bonsai trees at tables. The service was friendly and prompt. My tagliatelle came out piping hot and delicious. Good olive oil for the bread. I loved how many trees and vines surrounded the windows. The natural light in the restaurant gave me a lot of joy. The servers suggested a lovely red wine to accompany my meal. They left me alone to read my book and I felt very comfortable as a solo diner. I couldn't have imagined a better experience. The portion size was perfect, enough that I didn't crave dessert I would have gladly returned for another meal!
