Starbucks - Fernie

My wife's cappuccino didn't seem to have any espresso in it. Go to Rooftop or Freshie, or Big Bang if you want good coffee in Fernie.

Nice location off highway 3 in Fernie BC with mountain views all around. The address location on map isn't correct, located next to Best Western Hotel you can see from the highway can't miss it. Friendly staff that greet you as you come in and great service.

The lemonade was a little pale compared to other locations, but the staff was extremely friendly.

Starbucks are always on their game with my orders,a smile and a hello go a long way.

The man who took my order, who appeared to be either the owner or a manager, was quite abrupt. When I explained my concern about the matcha latte and referenced the conversation I had with the barista, he suddenly became very short and rude with me. Having worked in customer service for years, including with people facing severe disabilities, I understand that some individuals can be understandably short-tempered, but I’ve never encountered such rudeness without any provocation. I asked him why he was treating me so rudely, to which he responded that I should just place my order and claimed I had never ordered from that location before. He insisted he didn’t know what I was talking about regarding the sweetener and implied I was wasting his time by asking a simple question. His aggressive and disrespectful demeanor upset me to the point where I left the store in tears. Expressing concerns to strangers is already difficult for me, and being treated this way by an employee or manager is absolutely unacceptable. Given the level of disrespect I experienced, I will no longer be visiting this Starbucks, and I plan to escalate this matter to corporate. No one deserves to be treated poorly for simply inquiring about their order.
