Lizzie was probably just telling one of the other reviewers to stop being too loud and obnoxious.. It's a restaurant, not your living room.. Ivan Lizzie are friendly, coming round to say hello after your meal and I DEFINITELY recommend the eggplant chips, beef shin main and the best sticky date pudding I've ever eaten in my life. Highly recommended Lizzie even asks obnoxious people to shut up stop disturbing others, when other people complain!

Having discovered Ivan Lizzie's about 5 years ago, my only regret is that I didn't know about this restaurant years ago!! This couple have been in business well over 20 years and they're definitely doing something right. The fare is fresh and tasty and best described as Asian-influenced but not traditional Asian food as we know it. Love the friendly feel fact it's BYO too.

A lovely quiet atmosphere with delicious food. Three of our party had the Nasi Goreng and we were all Wowed. I have had many Nasi Goreng in my time having been to Indonesia over 30 times. This was the best one ever. The flavours were subtle and the spicing was perfect and the proportions ideal. Most of our party of 7 were thrilled with their meals.
