Flying Sushi - Feock United Kingdom

Mr Katsu Izakaya is a fantastic Japanese restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is always fresh and delicious and the portion sizes are generous and affordable. It's a great place for lunch or dinner all year round, right next to the train station.

We were in the area and we decided to to try out this place. The service was excellent, the staff was attentive and quick. We mostly had the food in the sushi train and there was a couple in there that was a standout for me, one is the scallop with white sauce and the other one was the salmon with the seaweed (see photos). This will probably be our go to sushi train place from now on.

The staff were incredibly friendly, which was a major highlight. However, the don was disappointing; the egg seemed to just sit on top and didn't really blend with the dish. The sushi, on the other hand, was quite decent, and I enjoyed the flavor of the rice. The only downside was that the rice was a bit hard and inconsistent. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for Japanese cuisine.

The food here is incredible, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. If you're in search of genuine Japanese cuisine, this is the perfect spot. It takes me back to my time in Japan and evokes wonderful memories of my travels throughout that beautiful country.

The sushi was quite good! It was my first time trying this place in the precinct, and it didn’t disappoint. Parking was easy to find as well.
