It also helped as I had a little idea of what my options were. The staff are ill prepared to help diners. I was just looking for a few dumplings rather than a full meal and the staff just led me into a soulless empty room which offered a full lunch. When I asked for outside and the bar menu, they then led me to another area which was just as soulless and demoralising; this is what COVID19 does to restaurants. Enjoyed the food , both the dumplings and spring rolls were fine but it wasn't a special experience.
Came here for a work function and it did not disappoint. The outdoor area created a great vibe, the nibbles were delicious and the drinks service was amazing! The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Would recommend for small and large groups.
We tried all you can eat Yum Cha, even limit 1 hour for ordering, but we got so full(really full Food service very quickly, good quality and tasty. The service really good as well! But hope can open more days for all you can eat soon
Ordered Peking duck, comparing to the traditional style, the skin is not crispy. However I really enjoyed the duck, it had an unique herb flavor that made the duck so tasty just to eat it by itself without the pancake. Other than the duck, loved their dim sum especially the bug meat n prawn siu mai. Love the food there.
First time visiting this upscale cantonese restaurant in the new rooftop section of the Westfielda food court. The first impression of rooftop is that is beautifully created open environment with a view of the city's core. The restuarant itself paid tribute to traditional chinese style with a modern polished twist. Similarly the approach to food also took the same route by paying respects to traditional casual cantonese (mostly) dishes with modern platting presentation. The flavours were full and generally cooked well with the exception of the cold duck spring roll (which was promptly addressed by the helpful staff). The staff were all friendly, energetic and helpful as well which is always an added bonus. Overall my verdict is that the food paid its respects to the often bastardised Chinese cuisine and the service is top notch. The price range is a bit too steep for the food that it offers but add in the upscale experience means that it will be a perfect place for business events or impressing your guests from out of town.
